I’m Rick Loek, father of two adult children.  One with special needs.  Life is a journey.  I have come to realize it is a path of and for Mastery.  That is for me it is about Mastery.

Mastery is not a place you ever get to.  I am on this journey learning and learning more.  I share what I learn and that reinforces my skills and knowledge.

This is the mastery cycle.  Discover something is missing.  Learn it, share it, teach it – that is mastery.

My first “real job” was working at Intel.  From there I went on to do a few different jobs, learning about self-worth along the way.

At some point, in 2002 everything I had started to fall apart.  It was a rough awakening.  Let go from my tech job.  I was getting unemployment for income.  I was not sure what to do, where to turn.

Then on a whim I went with a friend to hear about Landmark Education, now called Landmark Worldwide.  It was January of 2003.  My friend signed up for the course – I didn’t.  She was in the course on Valentine’s weekend – really, I was not too happy about that.

I finally was able to take the course a couple of months later.  The rest is history as they say.  

I became a program leader for eight years at Landmark.  I coached people, I taught people about what was possible if they took on the coarse work Landmark offered.

Through this training I was able to start my own companies.  An insurance brokerage and a Registered Investment Advisor company.  

Now I’m ready to start sharing & teaching others what I have learned.  Time to bring a new level of Mastery into my life and the lives of others.
