HOA 101 – California

You bought a home that is in a Homeowners Association (HOA) – now what?

Being in an HOA is not a bad idea, might not be great idea either.  It all depends on what you have.  Do you have common area?  Do you have a community center?  Do you have landscaping services?

Mine has a man made community lake.  It’s in reality a flood basin that has a lot of overhead & Maintenance requirements.  Sacramento is basically a huge flood plane.

If you own a property in a HOA you need to educate yourself.  There is much you should have read first.  Nonetheless, you are here now.  Never too late to learn what you have.

This course provides the basics, an entry level course.  You will learn how a HOA is structured, who is who, and ideally how you can be a contribution to your HOA.

If you want to figure out how to complain and be upset about what you have done – this is not that course.

If you are pissed, annoyed, upset, etc.  One of my other courses will likely serve your needs.  After taking the Calm, Centered & Balanced course come back to this course

If you live in a Homeowners Association in California, this is the basics you need to know
